I guess this kinda protest is way better than burning down place of business and looting - :P

Can you blame them? They were hoping to take sole position of 67th place in the medal count. ;)

Mongolian coaches protest loss by removing shirts, pants

The Mongolian wrestler had locked up the bronze medal in the waning seconds of his match...and began to celebrate. The judge assessed him a penalty point....which lost him the medal. His coaches disrobed in protest! (video above is awesome!)

Ryan Lochte has been dropped by his four major sponsors, including Speedo and Ralph Lauren. One expensive lie. Speedo will reportedly be making a contribution to a Brazilian children's foundation in lieu of Lochte's payments.

Here´s the list of what I saw:

- Final of the Men´s rugby 7;

- Women´s Volleyball - Italy vs Puerto Rico and USA vs China;

- Men´s Beach volleyball - two games of the quarter finals;

- Women´s Handball - semifinal - France vs Holland;

- Men´s Water Polo - final between Croatia and Serbia.

I also went to the olympic boulevard on Friday, and since I got there very early, I managed to get a cool picture with just me, Stela and the olympic pyre:

I love the flame, one of my favorites ever. I would love to have a mini version of the sculpture in my garden :)

I am very happy all turned out well. Very Happy for the US and the outstanding medal count especially from the women. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about the whole thing due to the media hype prior to the start. There were some strange shenanigans in the end. Who would've known that would be by a group of athletes that partied too much and could not fess up to what they had irresponsibly done. Oh well

Viva Brazil! Viva Rio! Well done! :clap: :ebert: :clap:
