I'm sitting across the street from the venue, having a beer and a salad. Couldn't find any TRFers, oh well.
Wish I were with you!

:hug2:

That way I wouldn't be sitting by myself
Oh well, at least I have beer
  And Rush!

That's all you need.  :)

Hey...how are those legs feeling!!!???

Still sore...eye sockets hurt too. It feels great though!!!
From my marathon I remember two things vividly.  One was hitting the Wall around mile 19.  It was 95 degrees out by then, the field had thinned, and I felt like I was wandering alone in a post-Apocalyptic.  The track (Sacramento) was a a loop that we had to do twice, which was tough psychologically.  Somehow I was able to gather myself and finish strong, with a kick.  The other thing I remember was that they had post-run massages, and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.     So much pleasure after so much pain.

Incidentally, that run was the last time I wore my hair long.

Love is pretty great, but you also need beer and music to be complete.

I thought I'd see CotW tonight since he's in town, but no luck.  Someone convince that man to go to LA.

I get the feeling it's just not my bag. I know people here go to these things, but it's fulfilling enough to go to the concerts for me.

I'm thinking that my days of full-fledged concerts are over.  That last RUSH show is as good as it can get.  I'll probably stick to small venue stuff...bar bands or jazz.  And what you say about RUSH Con probably applies to me as well.  Who knows...
