I incorporated several things in the design:The 3 red spheres, because HYF was the contemporary album when I first became a hardcore fan.RUSH as shown on the Presto cover, because Presto was the first new release I got to experience after becoming a hardcore fan, and my first concert.Respond/Vibrate/Feed back/Resonate - I wanted to include lyrics, and I used this of course as a tie-in to Presto but also because those lyrics invoke a kind of passion that I can really connect with, not only as it relates to Rush but to so many other things in life as well.I spent a LOT of time working on different ideas for this, and I think the end result works well - lots of things represented in one cool little ink package :) http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u227/dakota2112/2012-11-22_11-03-28_479.jpg Really nice one! :) 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And a word to anyone getting the starman design; pay attention to the shading! A lot of images online have inverted shading since the original image on the album has a black background, they just invert the black/white so the shading on the figure makes no sense.. when in doubt, look at the butt Crack.
