Red top, black pants, and a win for Patrick REED!!!

I just tuned in for the ending. Dyn-o-mite must have tripped up some down the stretch. Didn't expect that. Guess you never know...

Kuymer ripping it up in Abu Dhabi again. Looking for his fourth win at this event.

Congrat's to Rory for getting his first pro-career ace!

Horses for courses perhaps. It may be another good golfing year for the Germanator. When he gets in the zone he's hard to beat.

Anyone watching the Sony Open? I've caught a few minutes, the sun shine and palm trees look amazing.

Robert Allenby was kidnapped from a wine bar in Honolulu last night, beaten and left unconscious more than six miles away from the site of the kidnapping, according to a Golf Channel report.

Broadcaster Steve Sands reported during Saturday's telecast of the Sony Open in Hawaii that Allenby, 43, has sustained major facial injuries. The assailants took his wallet â including cash and credit cards â and his cell phone. The Australian awoke without recollection of the night's events. A man reportedly found Allenby in a park and returned him to the Kahala Hotel.

Allenby competed in the Sony Open but failed to make the cut.

Golfweek will have more details as they emerge from the scene in Honolulu.

Kuymer ripping it up in Abu Dhabi again. Looking for his fourth win at this event.

4th round collapse by Kaymer. triple bogey on the unlucky 13th did him in. Golf is a fickle game.

We'll see if Jimmy Walker (leader after 3 rounds) defends his Sony Open title later today. I love the W that the palm trees form at one of the holes.

I watched about an hour of this last night. I really don't care to much about who wins the Sony Open but I would rather see Kuch win of all the folks that are even within shouting distance of the lead....

Triple bogey?!?

Hack.

Damn. 10 ahead standing on the sixth tee. You don't see a lead like that lost every day. Guess thats why we had to tune in Sunday at last years U.S Open. You just never know I suppose. The dude that won shot 7 under so he certainly didn't back in as far as he was concerned....

they said on the Golf channel that Kaymer had to cross a bridge with the winners trophy on the 7th hole... probably unnerved him... golf is very much a mental game.

I suppose. I must say and this is just a general statement.... If Tiger is back and healthy, I think this will be an incredible year in golf. He, a quickly aging Phil, all the young kids coming on so quickly and we still have so many 28 - 35ish year old guys that are just reaching or are still in their prime. The stars seem to be aligning for a dyn-o-mite (no pun intended) year.... Woohoo :dweez:

Was he seriously up ten strokes? If so, that is an historic collapse.

On Jimmy's win...

Walker made all seven of his (Sunday) birdies over the final 11 holes, and he couldn't miss on the back nine.

He took a total of 20 putts on the back nine at Waialae in the third and fourth rounds. :notworthy:

This is kind of a gossipy post, but it's a lead story when I opened golfchannel.com. Apparently, Tiger lost a tooth...

http://www.golfchann...ng-front-tooth/

Woods' agent Mark Steinberg released a statement Monday afternoon explaining the situation: "During a crush of photographers at the awards podium, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera surged toward the stage, turned and hit Woods in the mouth. Woods’s tooth was knocked out by the incident."

But race organizers are telling the Associated Press the incident was never reported. Woods did request extra security and a snowmobile to exit the finish area and organizers say they met both requests. Nicola Colli, the secretary general of the organizing committee, told the AP: "I was among those who escorted him from the tent to the snowmobile and there was no such incident."

The tooth in question happens to also be Woods' dead tooth that had turned considerably more yellow than the rest, as evidenced in this picture from the PGA Championship in August.

Oh...it was 66 degrees and sunny today, so I played 18 holes. Hit the ball well, but couldn't hit it straight off the tee on the front side. Managed a respectable 41 on the back. Made maybe two putts all day...but it was a great round.

My buddy was on fire on the front. Shot 37.

Have you seen Appleby? He looks awful...his left eye is swollen up and he's got a huge bloody spot right above it.

ETA: Sorry to take the focus off Tiger and his tooth...:flagellatesself:
