Supersyl
Anyone know what that "Car Wash" sound at the end is??? Is that supposed to be the Ferry he is on? (Night Sea Journey)
The Analog Grownup
Sounds to me like a flanger effect put on some sound effect. Haven't been to a carwash in years so can't remember how they sound.
Lerxster
I don't hear a car wash. I do hear Geddy yelling, guitar effects, a cymbal at the very end. You'll have to put a time on exactly what you're talking about.

Supersyl
After the music has ended with the double snare hits... You hear kind of a blow dryer run through a flanger, and some sort of hydraulic "breathing" just before Freeze starts.... I've always wondered what it's supposed to represent.... "Car wash" was just a metaphor... :eyeroll:

goose
Great song, and the buried vocal is a perfect ending to capture the emotions of man broken and trying to find some order in his existence in this life.

coventry
Makes sense. It leads into "Freeze" and its lyrics perfectly.
