Lost In Xanadu
Pretty sure we had a bacon thread... I remember someone posting a picture of a woman in a bacon bikini *EDIT* Now that I think of it, it may have bee in the WI State Fair thread talking about chocolate covered bacon.... amazing how everything can lead to a chick if you try (or let Bob try) hard enough Edited March 28, 2011 by Lost In Xanadu
Janie
I am in love with bacon. One time, in the middle of the day, I was frying a big pan of bacon, the husband comes in and says, "Why are you making bacon?" Dumbest. Question. Ever. Why not make bacon!? I had a total "nooner" with my pan of bacon. I feel no shame.

Gah, English bacon is far and away the best. That's why the Full English breakfast is the only way to start the day. American Bacon has to burnt to a frazzle to make it anywhere near edible. Give me a nice bit of Wiltshire Cure Back Bacon any day.

ReflectedLight
lets put aside the bacon smug. i don't think i've ever had a bad piece of bacon unless it was overcooked and blackened, and i've had all kinds of bacon. one of my favorite uses for bacon is wrapping a meatloaf in a bacon blanket. it's like tucking it under the covers before going to bed. Mara
Does anyone here consider Canadian bacon to be "real" bacon? Because I don't. Don't get me wrong, it's tasty stuff, but it's HAM.

BeOhBe Bob
4 words Apple Wood Smoked Bacon Introduced to it in Vegas at the MGM grand breakfast buffet day 2 of our elopement 5+ years ago. Very tender barely done, succulent strip of fat, and thick sliced with a hearty hunk of meat attached to it. Now I hear tell of a thing called Cherrywood smoked bacon? And why was I not informed of this?
ILSnwdog
The debat should be over whether you like your bacon crispy or floppy? Floppy for me. If its crispy, it's over done in my book.
Good, bad, andrush
I had a bacon sandwhich today. I cut the bread into thinner pieces and stuck bacon inside, and inside the sandwhich I put bacon, and I added bacon-flavored cheese. I put a piece of lettuce inside (there was bacon wrapped inside the lettuce) and I also put more bacon. Then I drank bacon juice to go with it.
