Just realized that I had already made plans to go to a football game (Virginia Tech) earlier that day.  Now I've got a tought choice to make.

If the game is a nooner then I might possibly make it by 7pm.  Too crazy to try to fit both in.

but dude! rush needs you!  laugh.gif

I'm guessing I'll have to get to a different show earlier in the tour (such as Philly).  Missing the tour is not an option.

Just noticed you're from Greenville.  ECU is the other team playing that day.  I made my first visit to Greenville last November for the VT-ECU game.

Going to try my best to make it!!!  This tour however could`nt have come at a worse time for us.  Saving money for vacation soon, and Rush Concert.......Oh well!!  Might take my 10 yr old son.  After S&A, we told him it was his turn next.  He plays the bass(self taught) and is taking piano lessons.  The ticket prices will dictate where we sit!!

Got my tickets! Section 101, R 44 and 45.

So who else is driving up from the Raleigh area? Carpooling seems like it might be a possibility...

Anyone have any luck with the presale?  I think I have changed my mind and WILL be attending (I can watch football on tv).  by 10:02, tickets seemed to be all gone.  My buddy even tried to get 1 ticket in the P2 sections, but nothing was available.

I'll try periodically throughout the day and then again on Saturday.  Next option, try the day before or the day of the show.  Next option, buy from a scalper at LESS than face value right before the show starts.

Last resort - party on the lawn and save a few bucks.

I don't know what the f**k is up with the presale, but it'll say "no tickets available" like 30 times in a row, then eventually give you something kinda shitty. Then another 30 failed attempts.

I'm staying home with my sick kid today, so I just kept on retrying until I got Orch. and quit because I felt like I had won the lottery.

Did well in this morning's pre-sale. Got in at exactly 10am, and got tickets in the center section (102) right behind the orchestra. With the inclined seats at the venue, it should be pretty nice. Tix are pretty expensive, at $128 a pop, but obviously worth it.  For the record, my friend tried at the exact same time as I did and couldnt get in for a bit.  This online ticket purchasing is a total crapshoot.

Got my tickets today.  Shitty seats as usual.  At least it'll save money.

Nothing in orchestra or 100 level on ticketbastard after trying for about an hour.  So, it was either towards the back of the 200s or towards the front of the 300s.  Anyway, I'll be in section 304.  The one thing that will probably bother me is that people back this far will probably want to sit down.  I definately can't sit still.  No way.

My opinion was to hold off on tickets and try to get them the day before or the day of when good seat might be released.  My friend wanted to go ahead and get the tickets.  Better safe than sorry.  Oh, well.

We're in 205.  That's the downside of buying 4 tickets in a block.

The upside is I saved over $200.  And we'll be on the Alex side.

Just checked to see if tickets in Orch section were still available and nope! Sold out! Even the VIP seats are all gone.

Either the scalpers jumped on this one, I see blocks of tickets for auction on the TM page or this tour will really be a huge success for them. Not surprising either because R30 show here sold better than both Snakes shows.
