On the way to church this morning, we were listening to Sirius Channel 27. They are playing Rush today. Listened and drummed to Twilight Zone, and Live Xanadu:) Then...the synth intro to 2112 revealed to me how POWERFUL the hurt still is!! More tears!!

Hello Rush Family. Been so very long since I've been on here. Glad to be back! Yesterday was tough, like for MANY of us Fans, Drummers, etc. Grown Men.....do cry! Neil touched us all in different ways. I've been a drummer since age 5. I first heard the Boys at age 10. I grew up like so many. Listening, Umpteen Tours, Posters, Studying Neil's Drumming, introducing family friends and co workers to Rush, naming children after bandmates, taking children to Rush Shows, and placing NLPEART on my license plates in 1995!! Let's all stay in touch even more. We are Family!! Love you guys!! Thanks for being here. Thanks for EVERYTHING Neil!!

Hey ya`ll.......got the email today re; the upcoming tour!!! 0ne day before my 40th Birthday!!!!!! Awesome!!! Well...we are officially divorced ......but are still very close...everything is fair, and the kids are doing very well. Just wanted to check in.....and i`m looking forwrd to all the tour talk!!!! Hey ya`ll........it`s been a long while, and i wanted to stop by and say,"What`s up!!!" My wife and i separated in Jan. after almost 18yrs of marriage......and countless Rush Concerts together All is alot better than expected though. The kids are doing very well, we both remain very active with them, and we are still really close. And the kids witness our friendship often!!! No court...no custody hearings!!! Anywho.......didn`t get to catch any of the Time Machine Tour Just wanted to check in, and i`ll be around a bit more now!!! Ya`ll take care

I emergently took care of hundreds of seizure patients during my 15 yrs as a street medic here in Richmond. It truly is a very scary event. The worse that I remember taking care of was a child, who was morbidly obese. Because of her size, I had to administer Valium rectally. Thank God it worked. After a period at the e/r when she was post-ictal, she was soon crying for her mother. All in all the outcome was so very good, in spite of the fearful beginning of that call. To all of you out there, take care of yourselves, and be careful. Ya`ll take care.

I`m 36 years old, I`ve been playing the drums since I was a very young child, and I first heard Rush in 1982 on base in Quantico,Va (USMC) I was 10 years old!! By then I was playing the drums. I could play you a, "Mean" 4/4 beat back then Just don`t ask me to crash a cymbal!! I`ve been a fan ever since!! I`ll let ya`ll decide if that makes me, "Old" But theres nothing like being a fan!!! Quick Story..... My daughter, ALEXandria, who turned 13 today!!!! was at our youth pastors house this past weekend for a Christmas Party. They were playing one of the Rockband type games on X-Box or one of the game platforms. They were scrolling through songs when Alex saw, "The Trees" She told them they had to play this. She played bass, and got a 95% on the hard level. She laughed at how much trouble the guy playing guitar had. She said she tried to warn him!! Ya`ll take care

We all should tip our hats, and pay our respects to John!! He was there first, and got things started. His Diabetes must have really been bad if he left the band so early in life...only to die at 55 years.

What can we say...America voted!!! Melinda was in a class by herself. Blake, UNFORTUNATELY appeals to all the pre-teens, and teeny-boppers who vote. Hope Jordin takes it all.

One of my all time favorite quotes I use at home, and at work is, "You see the train moves, not the station!" (John Lovitz from A League of Their Own) Another pair of sarcastic sayings that i`ve adopted recently are, "The Titanic was supposed to make it to New York!" and also...." The Titanic wasn`t supposed to sink either" These are often said at my job after someone has said something often very silly. It is in no way meant to make fun of the Titanic tragedy. Ya`ll take care
