Euro 2016 France

Recommended Posts

Italy played the first 90 minutes as if they were looking toward overtime. Disappointing, considering what the Italians did to Spain in the last game.

I could watch Italy no problem, but on Germany's attempts I watched with my eyes covered...peeking through my fingers.

That was one of the worst yet entertaining penalty shoot outs I've seen.

Everyone in the pub was in stitches! What a collection of garbage delivered by some of those players.

Agreed. I thought the game would end on first penalty series.

I didn't know players would mistake much and kick so badly. :eh:

That was pure torture but the Italian Hoodoo is finally broken.

Officially a draw in the books, so the curse is still alive. No?

Which brings up the idea of a winless Portugal advancing so far...

Gomez out of the rest of the tournament with an injury.

Andre Schurrle will probably replace him

 Big bummer - If Ronaldo would play half as hard as Gomez does perhaps Ronaldo would be out for the rest of the tournament also. :banghead: Edited by alphseeker

So...a heck of an Irish sports day for me. We have championship Irish hurling on tv...I arrived in Killarney to find out thst the Killarney team was hosting the football championship...and they won! The streets are teaming with 10,000 drunk leprechauns and hobbits!

And Euro 2016 is about to start... Can't wait to see them all mimic the Iceland chant!

Khedira gone as well. Questions about Schweinsteiger's health. Hummels won't play in the next game because of yellow cards...I bet Germany would love to have Klosse right about now.
