blackhawkrush
Italy played the first 90 minutes as if they were looking toward overtime. Disappointing, considering what the Italians did to Spain in the last game.

blackhawkrush
Germany in the semifinal. As for Italy, that's what you get when you try to play almost the entire game like Slovakia.

What a collection of garbage delivered by some of those players. Agreed. I thought the game would end on first penalty series. I didn't know players would mistake much and kick so badly. goose
That was pure torture but the Italian Hoodoo is finally broken. Officially a draw in the books, so the curse is still alive. No? Which brings up the idea of a winless Portugal advancing so far...

goose
So...a heck of an Irish sports day for me. We have championship Irish hurling on tv...I arrived in Killarney to find out thst the Killarney team was hosting the football championship...and they won! The streets are teaming with 10,000 drunk leprechauns and hobbits! And Euro 2016 is about to start... Can't wait to see them all mimic the Iceland chant! Questions about Schweinsteiger's health. Hummels won't play in the next game because of yellow cards...I bet Germany would love to have Klosse right about now.
