blueschica
One dominant performance, and NASCAR is already grasping for excuses to wreck the great aero package they're running... Really? That stinks !! I have enjoyed seeing the new cars run this year.

blueschica
Shoulda, coulda , woulda . . . . shoulda saved Keselowski for this week! :D Oh well, Mr. blues and I are both picking the same car. That is the only thing that gives me pause, actually, but it's getting to that time in the race season where I have used the highest qualifying drivers. Here goes- blueschica and Mr. blues- going with Jr. in the 88 Weather is supposed to be lousy here tomorrow; I hope they can get the race in! Cygnus 2112
This race delay might have saved me. I'll take Jimmie Johnson. I'm the only person with two wins, and I'm second to last. I miss when Nascar was actually like this and you had to be consistently good to win a championship. Edited June 6, 2016 by Cygnus 2112
Fordgalaxy
It would be interesting to see the TV ratings for races pushed to a Monday. I bet it's pretty dramatic decrease.

It's not so fun for the people with tickets, also. A lot of them can't return on Monday for the postponed race. Not everyone likes the Saturday night races but at least if they get rained out, most people can stay and see them run on Sunday. (It hasn't happened lately, but ask me how I know :( )

(It hasn't happened lately, but ask me how I know :( ) When I was a kid, my family had 4 tickets to the Brickyard 400. I was there in 1994, 8 years old, when Jeff Gordon won the first one. Then in 1995, we were sitting in the rain all day, and we left the track after a few hours, thinking it had rained out. Sadly, we left and then they restarted shortly after. Dale Earnhardt won that day. One of the saddest regrets in my life. My only shot to watch Dale Earnhardt win a race. And I missed it. And on racing's biggest stage to boot. :( Rain sucks. That really is very sad. I'm so sorry that you missed seeing Dale Earnhardt win. At least you got to see the inaugural one, with Jeff Gordon winning; that is something for the history books. But I agree, rain sucks.

KenJennings
Nice win by Kurt. He saved a ton of fuel in that last run. Funny that everyone was close and everyone made it. Seemed like they were pushing too hard, but I think a lot of teams were playing possum too. Interesting to see how they've caught on to Keselowski's team doing that illegal butt-adjustment on their pit stops... sort of funny, but I guarantee NASCAR is going to come down on that. Props for innovative cheating. :)

laughedatbytime
I would like to take this opportunity to thank FS1 for broadcasting the race Tuesday morning. I was out of town on business and missed calling my wife Monday morning to tape it, and so she found a replay of it Tuesday morning and taped it. I managed, at a fair amount of effort, to avoid hearing the results, and got home and started to watch the tape. While Gordon was interviewing Logano during the pace laps, the final results scrolled across the screen. Well done, FS1!
