A lot of people have called Chase the shoe in for ROTY, but I think that's premature. Ryan Blaney is going to be very strong. Another young driver who's stock is on the rise is Austin Dillon. Currently he's 8th in total points with no finish worse than 11th through four races. I'm not sure their team is in winning form, but it's the same RCR form that propelled Ryan Newman to a championship runner-up in 2014. There have been 14 "photo finishes" (margin of victory under .02 second) in the Cup series since NASCAR implemented electronic scoring in 1993. Of those 14, Harvick has won four.
