I've discovered another way to make myself happy. I'm making even MORE Cruisin' Mix CDs! Summer Faves series now! I've been remembering songs and what times they were important, mostly the spring-summer-early autumn. It's MY show, so MY RULES!!! HA!!!

Sorry, Here's the site that gives the Top 100 hits from 1946 til NOW, http://longboredsurfer.com/charts/

I had my 6 month Teeth cleaning appt. today, and the assistant didn't have to do much 'digging' with those pointy little metal tools...it was over in about 36mins.... and they had CHERRY POLISH! First time for that! Also raspberry almond lip balm! YAY!

Are you talking about deep cleaning (going under the gumline)? If so, what type of dental insurance do you have that pays for two of those treatments a year?

Delta Dental. I used to get Blue Cross/Blue Shield dental, but when I retired THEY chose what costed them LESS to cover their ex-workers. That's just how it goes, I guess....

Hi Infidelity

That was my Third REO album....first I bought "You can Tune a Piano...", then I bought "You Get What You Play For"[ for the tune "157 Riverside Avenue-LIVE"!] and the third was "Hi Infidelity". The next I bought was "Nine Lives", which I believe was released just before "Hi Infidelity". "Back On The Road Again" was the hit, but I didn't know that until I listenend to the song itself REALLY CLOSELY, and recognised Kevin Cronin's vocal style of always adding an 'uh' to some words, i.e. "I'm Back on the road again-UH" LOL! At that time, it was a trademark for REO!

Hi Infidelity

Classic. The summer of '81 it went head to head with Moving Pictures for king of the airwaves in the Seattle area. Love the drums in this track:

I got to see them that year.....great concert, even though we had crappy seats, behind the stage.....kinda 'in the round' type setting, and Kevin would come 'around the stage' once in a while....'81 was a big year for concerts for me...Moody Blues, Bruce Springsteen, Journey.....of course RUSH Started it off....can't forget Van Halen and Cheap Trick.....Stevie Wonder...still got all my stubs too! Max Webster openned for RUSH of course..."Battlescar" and all that, Geddy joined Kim Mitchell onstage for the vocals....

Found a record on CD that I've missed since 1988, by a group called Siren or RED SIREN, called "All Is Forgiven"...found it for $51.08! Others have it for sale for $300 plus. They're NOT getting MY money...the one I bought is new, sealed and unopened. Don't know why it isn't able to be streamed...

That's them....They first went as just Siren, and that was the name of their debut album. After I found out their RED SIREN name change the other day, I found a bunch stuff also......supposed to be shipped sometime today so it'll arrive tomorrow...

Cutting the cord after over a decade and a half of being "hooked" on cable tv. I hooked up my 50 mile range outdoor HD antenna. I get 54 channels and most are broadcast in hi def. I did try to go the powered indoor type but I was not satisfied with the results. I know how much free tv is out there thanks to my camper that has a digital power boost antenna. So I got the clearstream 4V. For some history we were involved in the horrid Frontier take over of Verizon. Frontier is the worst cable company I have ever delt with as I lost all my on demand. My Fios internet was never the fast internet it was when Verizon. Random outages and the absolute worst customer service. Oh and every month my bill was loaded with bogus overcharges which was a battle with the aforementioned dare I say customer service. Good by :hi: Frontier and your $200 + monthly payments. I do realize I will have to invest in an OTA Tivo as I still try to rewind live tv  Edited by Crimsonmistymemory
