"Jools and Jim" jusy popped up on my iPod. It's a really good song!
Is that exactly what I thought I read?!
It's a typo. Damn smartphone.

I was just quoting a great line from the song.

LOL. Perfect setup for a misunderstanding on my part. I guess I should pay closer attention to a song's lyrics.

Some footage of The Who at the London Coliseum 1969.

The footage of Young Man Blues can be seen on the Kids are Alright movie but this footage has a different view of Pete windmilling at 15:12 and that in not on the Kids movie.

80's Pete and The Who. I saw this show at the Brendan Byrne Arena NJ ( it's name at the time ). Since then it's been renamed to Continental Airlines Arena and then Izod Center. The arena closed last March.

Closed? They just built it in the eighties, didn't they? Why did they close it?

They built a new arena ( The Pru ) in Newark :scared: . The Izod and The Prudential Center were both open for a few years but after the NJDevils hockey moved to Newark, along with major concert acts, the Izod died a slow death. The Izod is still up but who knows what they'll do with it. Xanadu/Mall of America/Whatever you call it may do something with it if and when they open.

If I let the personal lives and opinions of many rockers influence how I felt about their music, I wouldn't be listening to much of anything.

There is a difference between child pornagraphy and a drummer just becoming an asshole turning on his principles as he ages.

Is this a knock on Neil Peart?

I'm confused.

I saw my first concert at the Brendan Byrne Arena. You guessed it, it was Rush. Lots of memories from that place. Mostly stuck in traffic trying to get on the NJ Turnpike.

Would you like me to take a hammer to my Quadrophenia cd?

It was easier to go to MSG than it was to Brendan Byrne Arena. Better the subway than all that traffic.

Yup, where I saw my first :rush: show. We'll always have the memories.

As for PT he was able to convince the authorities he was doing research, maybe a book or something. I admire the guy so I lean toward giving him the benefit of the doubt.
