You are forced to hear them over and over and over and over.... sighBTW, when we try to watch tv from the US, if the program is also on a Canadian channel, we are forced to see Canadian commercials. Example: I turn to the Detroit station to watch the Super Bowl hoping to see the US commericals, but CTV is also showing the Super Bowl, so even on a Detroit station, I get the CTV feed with the Canadian commericals...
Lorraine
I never knew Canadians disliked Americans until I came here. This isn't directed at you, RC, but your post reminded me of that. Edited September 3, 2015 by Lorraine

That sure isn't like it was back in the day, At least not in the States. That would drive me nuts.
Lorraine
And every time I mention it to a Canadian, I get the same response. Maybe some day a Canadian will be kind enough to explain to me what we did.
blueschica
Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport - Rolf Harris :codger: https://www.youtube....h?v=_D-LmRNdQiQ "Hold me wallaby back, Jack..." Reminds me if long road trips in the way-back of the Volvo. Had to sing to pass the time. No radio, no a/c. :) What my dad would call 4/40 air conditioning- 4 windows down, 40 mph. (except he always drove like 80)

(except he always drove like 80) Back in the 70's, I always had to go on a dump run during the weekend with my stepfather. He drove so fu***** slow it was embarrassing. What should have taken no more than an hour at best turned in to two or longer.

blueschica
The Pied Piper by Crispian St. Peters... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3r0zoEBba1Y Thank you for this! This song is an old favorite and I would have never guessed a video for it would have looked like this. The kids are darling (even if they are somewhat confused :P) and he is obviously having a great time with them! It's a good thing the song isn't any longer, though, the way they were going around and around that little land plot. . . :D
