No Bonefish Grills or Hooters in Bad neighborhoods Been to Vegas over 12 times..never get off the strip...Now I will have time.Might check to see if a casino will give me a deal too. It's tough to say which areas are to avoid because I've seen problems and rough looking types everywhere in Vegas including the strip. On one trip I took a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon. If you can swing that I can't recommend it enough. Find one that has landing rights on the reservation and lands and let's you get out and walk a bit. You can't appreciate the scale until you are on the ground. Including the parties, gambling, concerts, shows, etc the canyon trip is still my favorite Vegas memory. But just got a deal at Luxor, I'll be there the next 8 nights...I feel I will be adapting and moving based on room prices, plus the company won't pay for Bellagio..LOLSummer for kids is almost over, so that's a positive.
