RUSHHEAD666
Fun? Yes. Good? That is a bit more murky. Simple? Yes. More complex than Crotley Mu? Barely. Better than Nickelback? I'll tell you next week. Jezzus JR!! Are you pushing my hair metal buttons? DICKLEBACK SHACK IS ONE OF THE WORST BANDS IN THE WORLD! C.C RULES! RIKKI plays the drums standing up!! I would rather let a "Stickleback" shark bottom feeder suck my Brian Johnson than let my egomaniac ears listen to Nickelback. I would rather BAREBACK. UGH!!!!!!!! WORST CANADIAN BAND EVER!!!!!!!!!! Wait that's RUSH. I mean HELIX.I mean APRIL WINE.I mean THE HIP! Ok on that note I QUIT!We're still waiting on you to vote on this... http://www.therushfo...h/#entry3592892 OK JR!!! I just responded to your thread! I can't believe I overlooked it but I didn't give you an answer just yet. I want someone to guess my favorite hard rock vocalist. It should be easy to guess. Give it a shot!
bathory
I don't dig poison at all really but they have a few songs that are too fun to deny. especially if you've got ahold of some shitty beer

Backer
I don't dig poison at all really but they have a few songs that are too fun to deny. especially if you've got ahold of some shitty beer Which, of course, reminds me of your post about 80s Judas Priest. "Woo hoo, let's cruise around town drinking Bud Light," or something to that effect. Hilarious still.
Rick N. Backer
So I'll speak up for these guys. Not my favorite band of course. But some of their tunes are pretty damn catchy, they do great covers, and Something to Believe In and Every Rose Has It's Thorn are actually pretty beautiful songs.
Ancient Ways
I have to admit that I did enjoy the poison albums. They are what they are, fun party rock. They're Kiss with better makeup, better songs, and less attitude. Never was big into Kix but I've got a couple friends that love em
Steevo
They're Kiss with better makeup, better songs, and less attitude. Kiss in their mid 70s prime would eat these bozos for breakfast.

TheAccountant
I saw Poison open for Def Leppard a couple of years ago and I have to confess, they were very good live. CC is a fine guitar player. I've always heard they were really good live but have never been a big enough fan to want to spend the money to see them. A friend of mine has seen them a number of times and always talks about how fun they are live. Darn right. Seen Poison multiple times, including the above mentioned tour with Def Leppard and every time I have seen Poison its been nothing but a good time (chuckle - but totally true). If you don't want to take my word for it (who would?) check out their DVD "Live, Raw and Uncut" it gives a very good feel of a Poison show. Also, 100% agree with the comment about CC - he is a very good guitar player.

Lucas
I saw Poison in '88 open for David Lee Roth ( w/ Vai ) - Poison blew them off the freakin stage I have seen Poison a few times more recently, and each time they have been awesome - they are what they are, but they are great live ...

I went to see them rehearse one time, and sat and watched them play "Scratch Like A Cat" a few times - they sounded great
