This thread will probably sink to the bottom of TRF bandwidth ocean but man I think Ace deserves his own thread! For me it's like George Harrison is my favorite Beatle. Well Ace is my favorite KISS guy. His songs were always the best. JMO Hell even his 1978 solo album was obviously the best one out of the Stab Four. Come on an love me? No! NEW YORK GROOVE! I always bought everything Ace put out. I love the Frehley's Comet albums. His other solo stuff is solid too. Heck he had Anton Fig on drums back in the late Eighties. Anyway put on your black leather and give Ace some LOVE GUN, I mean some LOVE! This one's for you ACE! You should read his book too. Fuckingg killer. A true rock and roller. Often imitated, never duplicated. His autobiography is facinating as well. It is so good to see him doing so well after some "lost years". A true rock and roller. Often imitated, never duplicated. His autobiography is facinating as well. Kiss would have never made it without him. All I can say is that I love your post! I have a quick story for you. I met this chick at a pizza place a couple months ago. She used to be friends with the one guy who was in charge with Ace's smoking guitar!Yep!It was one dude in charge of that one special effect.He's a no name guy. Hell even I don't remember his name.He didn't get rich at all. As a matter of fact he was just a normal guy getting normal pay to take care of that smoking Gibson.He was no one that important but he did have his perks.He had a limo at his disposal so he could get from venue to venue.He would get to travel with the band as well.They covered his room and board. So as this post may be lame and outlandish, I met a girl who knew the guy who took care of Ace's smoking guitar. The dude was good with explosives and shit. He was only responsible for that one guitar and that one trick. Crazy shit guys but I fukking love the story. I'm 47 and I am will never grow up. The song is a tribute to Ace, basically calling for his return to Kiss.
