OK, I have far too much time on my hands tonight so bear with me! This is the first time I have posted photos here and of course they are all different sizes so I hope this makes sense. Anyway, last week I thought some folks in this thread said they were interested in Geddy shirts . I was and I did some research and shopping so here are some interesting ones that I found. BTW they are all unofficial and unauthorized and I don't know anything about sizes or fabric quality except for the Amazon UK one that I read some reviews on because that is my favorite :) So, here goes!

The recent photo one of Geddy is from Etsy- https://www.etsy.com....m...ck-rush? The BLAH BLAH one is a Cafe Press copy of the one someone said is from Danforth and Pape? It might come faster from C Press but I don't know what their t shirt quality is like, I have only ordered their bumper stickers :) http://www.cafepress...=513426485 The one with the 70's Geddy photo is my favorite so I looked into that one a little more. It is from Amazon.uk Anyone can order from there, you just have to set up an account. (My son gets Kraftwerk imports from there all the time.) They charge a lot for shipping though! The shirt is L 14.99 pounds, which is about $22.00, OK. I read some reviews of other shirts that the same company makes and people like them a lot! However, Amazon.uk then charges L 12.98 for shipping (near as I could gather) which is about $19.00!! My wife has the one on top. Not sure where she got it. She might wear that one to the show, instead of the ones we bought.

 

I am still asking about "Hot Topic". The COS tee I have is from them. Cheap and made by Hanes. 100% cotton does not ensure quality.

I am hoping the official tee's are better made than the COS tee I have.

Hot Topic is a chain store for kids, and most of what they sell is of mediocre quality at best. Things from the Rush store are typically what you'd buy at a show, and are of very good quality.

I thought about getting a lighter color, but I was concerned on how well the design would show up. Since it's white it may look too faded out. I love that you can order different colored shirts. Black can get so boring.

Yeah that's definitely true. Even if it's not cat hair, it seems like everything sticks to black T-shirts. And they always seem to get linty in the dryer.

Yeah that's definitely true. Even if it's not cat hair, it seems like everything sticks to black T-shirts. And they always seem to get linty in the dryer.

 

I've learned to put my black t-shirts in the dryer inside out! 99% of the time they look better!

 

Although when you have (well had) a cat that had mostly white hair, and you tossed stuff on the bed to fold, he'd drag his little ass up there lay in the warm stuff and screw it up anyway so....

:ebert: Just ordered one of the Union of Maples and two different colors of the Rocinante myself, along with one of the new Megadon design shirts! They are tad pricey, probably due to the fact they deal in English pounds and have to ship them here from England. I know some folks who have a few of their shirts and they look like good quality stuff. Also like you said, they are super cool to deal with.

Well the new tee's arrived yesterday. My fears are realised. Cheap, thin, cloth. 100% cotton, but the quality of a good undershirt.

I guess the only way to get quality is to buy the shirt, then get the logo or whatever design you want added afterwards.

 

Also, there were no concert venues listed on the back. So maybe for the Europeans, this could be good news for you.

Well the new tee's arrived yesterday. My fears are realised. Cheap, thin, cloth. 100% cotton, but the quality of a good undershirt.

I guess the only way to get quality is to buy the shirt, then get the logo or whatever design you want added afterwards.

 

Also, there were no concert venues listed on the back. So maybe for the Europeans, this could be good news for you.

Yep, some of their stuff looked exactly the same as what was available at Rushbackstage, so I ordered 2 shirts. They arrived yesterday, look good, and seem to be of decent quality. Will probably order from them again.

I have other tee's that are thicker and evidently have a higher thread count. I wish i knew more about thread count. I could use that as a barometer for quality.

The shirts I've bought from Backstage Club have all been really heavy material shirts. Much more so than any pack of undershirts you can buy. In fact they're so thick I rarely wear them in the summer because they're so warm.
