Is it feasible, given Ged's current vocal range, for them to pull off Hemispheres, by just shifting the vocals down an octave, during the high passages? I wonder if he could pull it off, dropping down an octave as needed, would that be within his range. And would an octaver work with those phrases, or would that end up sounding awful? J2112YYZ Posted March 16, 2015 Share Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) I don't think most fans care at this point if the vocal delivery loses some of it's impact because Geddy is singing it in an octave lower. I think we would be so overjoyed if they busted out songs like Anthem, FBN, Bastille Day, AFTK and Something For Nothing that his vocals wouldn't matter too much. I mean how long has it been since he's been able to sing Temples in the proper register and fans still go crazy for it? Part of me is thinking that since this looks to be their last major world tour, they might just say screw it and play a good amount of the 70s stuff for the last time.
