Tom Sawyer
Okay, so i am a HUGE M*A*S*H fan and have seen the episodes (especially seasons 1-5) countless times over the years. Recently I discovered that netflix added seasons 1-5 to their streaming library, well, I already have the whole series through season 10, but a news story I ran into the other day asked the question..."why only seasons 1-5"? the "Frank Burns" era. Anyway, it maybe nothing, maybe a sydication contract issue that has yet to allow the other seasons to be available for netflix to offer, who knows. But... I thought it could make for a fun topic, for here, for the other M*A*S*H fans here, to offer humorous excuses that only the M*A*S*H characters would offer as "why only seasons 1-5?" I'll start... Because Frank Burns Eats Worms!

ILSnwdog
Anything after Major Burns leaves just isn't the same. And then when Radar left and Klinger stopped wearing dresses...forget about it. :(

ReRushed
I never bought the hype, but I certainly didn't hate it. I watched it because it was on television. Monday nights? Correct? Anyway, I do remember the finale being the hypiest of hypes and EVERYONE watched it.

goose
From 1983 until 2010, "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" remained the most watched television broadcast in American history, Not bad.
