Be that as it may...back to the worst Rush album. Lord knows there are no lack of choices.

Still the debut.

It is undoubtedly the worst...but still a grand album!

A Farewell To Kings

It has the worst songs. Hard to say which is the worst though.

Isn't it that one based on some old poem?

The Speed of Love it's not...

Oh boy, I'll say! Give me Dog Years any day over that horrid Xanadu.

Fortunately they wrote Tai Shan to even out the score on Rush songs about China...

Segue Mick, I can see it now! We'll have matchbooks made up that will say: Mick and Mona, a match made in Heaven!

You mean Seggerz Mick and Mona

Sounds like a sitcom

Coming this Fall.......Seggerz, Mick and Mona!!!!!!!

Mick

Can I supply the theme tune?

Sure. We can be a hit.

When Seggerz puts on VT......Mick runs away Faster then the speed of Love!!!!!!!!!

And when Mona looses at chess....She says a farewell to her Kings!!!!!!!

Mick

That's the best album they ever did. It was downhill from that point on. I will bet dollars to donuts they didn't even write the debut album.

I dont buy into the whole "bad Rush is better than most bands good".

The debut is just...basic seventies rock. Absolutely nothing special in the grand scheme of things.

Not enough Chain Lightning.

I better they didn't even write that one either. i was once at a Cantonese restaurant in Chinatown and the waiter told me he wrote it.

I can't believe both Hold Your Fire AND Caress of Steel have votes!! A couple people need to lay off the :smoke:

Two actual masterpieces ( and for the record, even I rank them higher than Presto).

Totes. HYF is probably their best album in terms of how well the songs are crafted, and Fountain is the most intense emotional journey they've ever written!

Hold Your Fire is a masterpiece, but whoever voted Caress of Steel (cough, cough) ;) knows what he's talking about.
