laughedatbytime
Also, more proof that men are horrible. Ok, I'll bite. Why does this, in any way, show that men are horrible? Because for the most part men treat women like disposable garbage to be thrown out past a certain age, which sadly is much younger than I expected but I'm not at all surprised. For the most part? Do you have a more concrete way of describing this? It sounds like the vast majority. I hope you don't really believe that. I have been married for 25 years next April and have no intention of running away with a younger woman. However, in a physical sense, I would say that, on average, I find a woman in the 23-38 age bracket more attractive than women close to my own age. That might just be the way we are and should not be denounced simply for existing. Of course, this is not a rule. Plenty of women closer to my age are attractive including some that are older such as Cindy Crawford (48), Jane Seymour (63), Diane lane (49) and more. I think we'd be better off understanding differences between men and women and only denouncing bad behavior not the preferences. You say that you have no intention of running away with younger women and you're making this rather personal and being a tiny bit defensive. Yet, you have images of women who I'm pretty sure are all under 35 in your signature AND you talk about being married and how rare it is to find women your own age attractive. So obviously women have more of an expiration date for you as well, once again I believe my point has been proven. One thing about your point proven or not, it's not really a decision instead more of as biological inclination that you don't have any control over. You don't walk down the street and decide to be attracted to the young 20-something girl in the blue dress, it just hits you out of the blue. What do you suggest to ward against this? Drugs?I could get this thread transferred to SOCN in the blink of an eye...

Nor is this personal. I wanted to enage you in discourse on the subject but I can see you already had your mind made up and are not interested in discourse. Good day. troutman
I'm older than any of the male ages on the women's list :boohoo:Geddy Lee is, too...and it doesn't do him any harm right ladies? ;) Yeah but he's Geddy Lee, it's not like I go around checking 60-year-olds out, heh.But Geddy Lee is a man which means he's horrible, right? Mot-likely. And if he were to become single he probably wouldn't be interested in my saggy 31-year-old boobs and butt. Why should he be faulted for who he fancies, how can he control it? Should you be faulted for not liking the obnoxious old guy down the street? No, Because it's never enough for men. We can never be young enough, firm enough, thin enough, etc... You can control it by controlling your own damn mind and keeping it open but men aren't willing to do that. And women are? :laughing guy:
Blue J
Found this, thought it could make for some interesting discussion...do you find this to be true in your experience and for yourself? Interesting to see all the comments since this thread started...the word 'appealing' is very general, and open to a wide interpretation. I can say that there are a ton of appealing things about a woman that do not have to do with physical characteristics, and which are not necessarily specific to any age category, any demographic. Aside from that, I can only say that the answer to the original question seems to become less and less clearly defined, all the time. There weren't many options for women back then, you got married, had babies, and took care of the house. They were so relived when they were widowed. The Analog Grownup
Bottomline is: Life's unfair. Some blokes have more money, bigger muscles, bigger dicks than me. I can work on the first two, but the last is just a deal-with-it-son. Some women have bigger breasts, smaller asses, smaller breasts, some are skinny and some a voluptuous. It's just the way it is and it's sad to point whatever bitterness your sense of inferiority might leave you onto the other sex. I'm not being holy here, I know all about being bitter. It's really tough to make yourself feel loved under the absence of a loving touch.
