Principled Man
Wisconsin running back just set all time FBS record for yards rushing in a single game with 408 yards. Game still going on. Melvin Gordon had all those yards in three quarters. 25 carries, 408 yards, 4 TD's (and a couple of lost fumbles in the 1st quarter). The Huskers seemed to not even want to tackle Gordon after a while. They were SPENT.... http://media.jrn.com/images/210*224/38868651-mjs_uwgrid16_21_of_hoffman.jpg_uwgrid16.jpg

Dread Pirate Robert
If Georgia beats Auburn, which seems likely at this point if not inevitable, is this the first win for an SEC East team over a West team? No. Georgia beat Arkansas on Oct 18. Going into yesterday's games, the SEC East was 1-9 against the West, ridiculously one-sided. East got some much needed love yesterday with Georgia trouncing Auburn and Mizzou beating Texas AM, to bring the cross division record up to a not-quite-so-ridiculously-one-sided 3-9. Two cross division games left, Miss St against Vanderbilt and Mizzou against Arkansas. Go ahead and pencil in a win for Miss St over lowly Vandy, so the final East versus West record will be either 3-11 or 4-10, depending on the outcome of the Mizzou/Arky game. Principled Man
Bo Pelini (who was steamrolled by Melvin Gordon and the Badgers) sure is great for making poignant and dramatic photos..... :laughing guy: http://bloximages.chicago2.vip.townnews.com/journalstar.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/f/8b/f8bead2a-da4d-5d02-a659-a8d6ac5f207b/5467f6c5b0ada.image.jpg

Was it snowing the whole game? Snow accumulation on the field? Just some very light snow late in the game. Melvin Gordon's rushing yards, however, snowballed all game long..... :haz:

I would have been surprised to hear otherwise, even before Florida choked and died against SC at the end of that game. Dread Pirate Robert
When you were a kid, who announced the games? It was Bob Fulton when I was a kid. I loved that man. His voice was golden.
