whyareweherecuzwerehere
A while ago I posted my ultimate Rush concert setlist, which received overwhelmingly negative criticism, with some people accusing me of “trying to destroy Geddy’s voice” and stuff like that. But after a few months of listening to deeper material and noticing trends in recent tours, I have put together a setlist that I hope will satisfy everyone and not bring up any problems. The FEAR series is played in its entirety for the first time, and “Broons bane”, a classical guitar piece Lerxst used to begin “The trees” with, serves as the intro to “Closer to the heart”. And finally, there are fan favorites from the 70’s and 90’s included, as well as newer material ranging from Vapor trails to Clockwork angels. I really like this setlist, and seeing it live would be unbelievable. What do you all think? whyareweherecuzwerehere
Man I'm tired of hearing that Lol at least I didn't add stuff like Fly by night and Farewell to kings, which would just sound awful and end Geddy's singing career a good five years early

I really like this setlist, and seeing it live would be unbelievable. What do you all think? The song selection is good but I would just make a few tweeks. Entre Nous just doesn't work in the second spot. Did you see them when they played it third on the S&A tour? The crowd died during it. So, I would move Limelight and Superconductor ahead of it that way you've got three upbeat tunes to start the set off. The Garden ending the main set is a serious downer. It's a good song but do you really think the band would leave the stage to that song? End the main set with a bang and put Headlong Flight there instead. Also, Rush would never end with Marathon since they always end with a hit. Move it to the main set and then move Subdivisions to the last song of the encore. Maybe I took that way too seriously, but that's what I would do to make the set flow better.
Disk98
Nice set. Only thing I'd change Is maybe opening set two with Headlong Flight because Rush always does a hit single for opening sets. Maybe flip Marathon and Tom Sawyer, but it really does look realistic. I'd pay to see it.

RushBoingo
It looks, mostly good, I love Marathon as the closer. I would change out a couple of songs, but the most prominent is The Pass instead of Bravado. I would also change the order of songs, mainly, no ending with the garden, and Tom Sawyer in a non-special spot.
