Jason Day withdraws again.... :( Sorry RushCanuck :hug2:

Tiger is withdrawing too. sorry Narpski.

What?????!!!!!!

http://www.pgatour.c...old-palmer.html

I just looked on Pgatour.com. :rage: Damn that pisses me off....

Thank you though for letting me know :rose:

I read your comment about Jason Day withdrawing... so I went on PGATOUR.com to read up and I saw the headline about Tiger... I wonder if either one will be ready for the Masters...

Man I hope so. I like Jason too but without Tiger (no matter what the haters say) it is just not the same event. I am a Day fan as well and would tune in to see him in contention.... :)

I gotta say this and not just because Tiger withdrew but the field is pretty weak at Bay Hill. I was looking at possible groups to watch if I decide to go on Friday. The tee times and groups are up on pgatour.com, and most of the groups suck. Freak'in Robert Gamez is in the field!! Maybe David Hearn will contend? Maybe Reed, Scott and Rose on Friday afternoon? Geez....

What, you're not going to follow Bubba, Sneds and Fowler? (just kidding you, Bro!) What about Stenson, Poulter and Keegan? For sure, check out Reed, Scott and Rose. I'd check out GMAC and Darren Clarke if it was me going. I like those guys. I'm a veteran of going to the Canadian Open (where a B field of players always shows up), my advice is just enjoy the golf... I like going to the practice range and checking the swings... then I follow some of the groups for a while, then I settle at a green or a tee for a while and watch a few groups go through... just some of my advice - take it or leave it, of course.

I will probably do all of what you suggest. When I lived in DC and was going to the Kemper Open every year I would follow Payne the whole round but sit most of the rest of the time. I can't imagine following any of these groups more than 9 holes. No Phil, Rory either? I don't even think I saw Sergio's name. Geez. Bet Arnie isn't happy.....

I'll be watching some of the coverage so maybe I'll see you.

Golfweek magazine is reporting Woods has a bulging disk in his back. Agent for Woods is not confirming this story, however.

I watched most of the coverage from 3:30 - 6:00 but I missed seeing you.... Possibly I just didn't see you, but maybe they avoided showing you because they thought you were wearing that right wing radio guy's shirt. At least you got to see Tiger's ex-caddie and Tiger's ex-swing (via Scott). Patrick Reed looked like he was struggling a bit today.

I might try to go to tomorrow's final round....

It was sad to see Adam Scott shoot 4 over today and finish 3rd after holding the 54 hole lead. Just my opinion, but that putter is a big culprit. I wish Steve Williams would grab it away from him and throw it in the water.. nevertheless, heading into the Masters, Scott looks like one of the favorites.

Congrats to Matt Every, another PGA first time winner.

At 13/2, guess who the favorite is to win the Masters? ;)

If it's Woods (I didn't click the link) then there is a chance he may not even play!

LPGA is in town this week. Me and my golf friends were thinking about going but the thought of four 50 year old men following around a bunch of young, barely adult women seemed a little perverted. So we'll stay away even though they could use the ticket sales :P

I've been to several LPGA events and let me tell you, you will NOT be standing out in the crowd. Several golfers, like Paula Creamer, have big crowds following them around (mostly men). Natalie Gulbis, who only has 1 LPGA win but has a pin up calendar, has the biggest army of guys following her around. She's no fool, she knows it's not her golf game that attracts the guys...

That makes me feel better, until the evening news coverage catches my mug in the gallery with drool coming out of my mouth.

Yeah, crazy. I was surprised to see him as the favorite, but that just shows how truly great he is. When Tiger plays a given tournament, there's no other golfer more likely to win.
