Jack Aubrey
From Hollywood News: I've received an interesting email today that sends me in the direction of Contact Music, where Emilio Estevez has confirmed that he will take part in a sequel to THE BREAKFAST CLUB. The news comes despite the fact that the actor (and brother of Charlie Sheen), failed to turn up for the 20th Anniversary reunion on MTV recently. "John's (Hughes) got an idea for a sequel - mature aged students at college, all doing time again - for some reason or another. "The twist would be that we're all the polar opposites of how we were in the original. JUDD (NELSON), for instance, would now be the straight-laced one. I'm definitely in. If it happens, I'm there." Also, co-star Molly Ringwald has told Canada.com that she will appear in a sequel to 16 Candles. In other sequel news, it appears that a sequel to Patrick Swayze's seminal classic 'Roadhouse' has been greenlit.
JohnnyBlaze
All 3 were enjoyable but sequels? They should just leave 'em be. Hollywood greed at its finest
barney_rebel
How can you have a sequel to Breakfast club? Seriously - I can't see how they work that story in... So they're all old and the principal is now a cop and he comes after them?

Freedom_Fighter
The Breakfast Club owns but a sequel to it will probably suck.
rushgoober
Is John Hughes' creativity washed up to the point that he has to resort to this? What's next, Ferris Bueller: Day Trader?

CanEHdian
I think its best if they just leave it well enough alone. There aren't too many 'remake' movies that turned out all that good IMO.
