LedRush
Come oooooon people. Are we on a mission to gain weight ? WTF !!!! http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w276/custom55/pizzahut-hotdogpizza-today-150610_bf254d3344c1083af4ef19f40db60ad1.today-inline-large_zpsf64bynbq.jpgPizza Hut pizza is an abomination. Still better than deep dish.Taking an opinion from someone from New York about pizza is like getting relationship advice from Counterparts. I'm not from New York, though seeing as pizza as we know it was created and developed in New York and the surrounding area, I find your statement quite odd.Created and developed in NY, maybe. Perfected in Chicago, definitely. I think a lot of this could be avoided if we recognized that deep dish pizza isn't pizza. If we just called them cheese-bowls or something, we wouldn't need to have these disagreements.I can kind of see this point, but Chicago style was the next step in the evolution of pizza. I guess NY style can be like homo erects and Chicago style the Homo sapiens of pizza. So many tasteless jokes...... but I will pass..Go ahead with your jokes, as long as NY style pizza is discussed here, there's no concern about your jokes being the most tasteless thing in the thread. Not only has Scalia ruled that deep dish pizza isn't pizza and is infinitely worse than real pizza, even people in the insane asylum known as Chicago seem to agree: only 9% of the orders in Chicago are for deep dish. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/17/antonin-scalia-rules-deep-dish-is-not-pizza_n_4801400.html

And of course only 9% of orders in Chicago are for the good stuff. Wonder what the percentage is when you take out the cheap shit like Papa John's, Domino's, Pizza Slut, and the worst of all, Little Caesar's? Anyone can afford shit...you've got to pay for quality.

Xanadu
I'm from Chicago and have lived here all my life and I actually much prefer regular crust (not paper thin, just regular) over deep dish. I am not really a huge fan of deep dish myself. But way to be a complete dick about it, Jon. Up yours.
HemiBeers
I used to love Chicago pizza. Then I got one from Uno's...my god what a huge disappointment. A big pile of overpriced, flavorless crap. That's changed my view completely to thin (or normal) crust. When you eat Chicago style, you feel like you just hate a freakin loaf of bread, which is not far from the truth. Only people around Chicago think their pizza is best. Everywhere else it's thin crust. I'd rather enjoy the toppings and save some carbs. I loves me some Chicago hotdogs, so this just isn't an anti-Chicago rant. But your highways suck balls as well. Fred Star
I have been known to polish - off two 12" (buy-one-get-one-free deal) Pizza's.. in the space of 90 mins'.. couldn't do it now though, in fact i prefer to make myself a toasted sandwich or a panini which i find just as satisfying tastewise and easier on the "tum".. a fraction of the cost too !
