I used to love them when I was a kid, but I haven't seen one in many, many years. After awhile, you kind of get the point: action, action, stylish action, spy, bad guy, shaken not stirred, hot woman, gets out of impossible situations, theme song, nifty gadgets, sleeps with women, etc. - not necessarily in that order. Fun I guess, but it's pretty much always the same movie.

You sillly bastard, aren't/weren't you a big fan of the king of all bullshit shows "Friends"?

You could say that about any series of films or shows. What you really mean is this particular spy scenario is not for you anymore. It's just not the rushgoober cup of tea and that's it.

I was going to say "Duckfinger" but that sounds too much like porn.

I forget, is that pic from "The duck who loved me" or "Ductopussy"?

"The Duck with the Golden Love Gun"

I'm not sure how the two things compare other than to use the tired "I disagree with your opinion in one area so in every other area your opinion is worthless" argument.

Any tv show or series of movies are going to have variations on a theme. At least on Friends the story lines progress forward. James Bond doesn't have any kind of evolution, he's just cool spy guy with the same premise repeated in each movie. Admittedly, they're very well made, if a bit of style over substance - kind of like listening to AC/DC.

And I'm not even saying I dislike James Bond. I used to love Bond movies, it's just that after seeing virtually the same story a dozen times I didn't feel the need to keep watching them.

Insert of couple of hyphens and that title's dead on!

That was my bad for not clarifying. I meant that Friends was one of the most predictable bullshit shows of all time.

Buuurrrrr. Tough crowd in this thread lol. After scratching my head about the casting of Craig as Bond I decided to watch Casino Royale. After seeing the movie I asked myself How I could have doubted him. If it's not obvious by now Craig is the best Bond to me.

My favorite Bond Films.

Maybe Craig is the best Bond. Maybe. But neither he nor Connery could've done anything with A View to a Kill or Octopussy.

Daniel Craig is the best Bond. He's helped turn Bond movies from the "repetitive bullcrap" that most people complain about, into a real action movie with true actor, director, and writer effort. The new Bonds have amazing stories, and blow the old ones out of the water. I'm not saying I dislike the old Bonds, I will always have a soft spot for my old favorites. This new style simply trumps the old movies, what with Bond actually being a CHARACTER and all that jazz. Edited by Alex
