ILSnwdog
For those of you not familure with Bob Mould (front man of Husker Du and Sugar), Here is a little taste. Bob may be the best guitarist that most people have never heard of, and he's ok with that. ;) check out the solo at 1:50. I can't believe his strat doesn't catch fire.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4rUMa3KROc And here is some of Bob's finest solo work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L69_JFQC03o Enjoy :)

I think it has a thicker sound too. Could You Be The One is an awesome tune though. One of my favorite Husker Du songs.

Xanadoood
I think I've asked this before , but have u guys read his book? One angry dude! Although he seems to have mellowed over the years. Although he seems to have mellowed over the years. The part about him working in professional wrestling is fascinating.I haven't. I really respect Bob because he's always tried making music on his terms. Never selling out. I read an interview in Spin Magazine with him. He seemed a bit edgy, but I respected what he had to say. condemned2bfree
Bob Mhusker du's betterYou're entitled to your opinion. I think his best work was done with Sugar.Prefer his work with husker du too, though there are some sublime moments with sugar.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8rmOX0H44M wharehouse songs and other stories is just great ,there are some gems on there with rubbish production. Still the quality of songwriting cuts right through -lots of great great songs. even on the lesser known tracks.

beneathbetweenbehindyourmom
Mould is an absolute musical genius. Saw him live a few months ago and he blew me away. Played the whole Copper Blue album, most of the new solo album, and 4 select Huskers cuts. The place was packed and the crowd was totally into it. The show was nothing but raw power from start to finish. One of the few cats out there that can play with as much energy as they played with 30 years ago. And it was loud... like Dinosaur Jr. loud. Thats one thing that bums me out about the shows I see with "classic rock" bands who are still touring, the dudes don't play at loud enough volumes any more. If I can hear my own voice singing along, it's not loud enough. Anyways Bob is the shit and Husker Du will forever be my second favorite power trio. Oh and go buy Silver Age. A great new batch of songs courtesy of Bob Mould the "Punk Rock Guitar God."

Hatchetaxe&saw
What' the name of his book? It seems like an interesting read... http://www.amazon.co.uk/See-Little-Light-Trail-Melody/dp/031604508X/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1360450068&sr=8-3 It's a super read. I've seen Bob live a few times, twice with Sugar. His solo show was the most intense, weird, horrible, brilliant show ever. There was a drunk guy driving Bob crazy. Bob went postal. I emailed him to apologise on behalf of my kin and country.
