The Cat 3
I picked up the new Green Day on Tuesday and can't stop listening to it. Gone are all the political ramblings and in their place is straight forward rock and roll. Sounds like earlier Green Day ("Dookie" era)... ...nothing earth shattering or ground-breaking, just some fun music. Good enough to have me looking forward to the next of the three releases. "Uno" 25 September "Dos" 13 November "Tre" 15 January http://wac.450f.edgecastcdn.net/80450F/loudwire.com/files/2012/09/Green-Day-Uno.jpg Edited September 27, 2012 by ReGorLaTroy
invisible airwave
Let's hope at least one of these is better than 21st Century Letdown.

What is the accused posing as? Maybe sell-outs is a more accurate term. To be honest, I'm not a fan. Prefabricated punk. I enjoy several songs, but that's about it. Anything released after the period I listened to them as a 13-year-old is really hard for me to listen to.
Presto-digitation
They're a fun band. Simple, hooky, melodic. Well played. It's much the same impact I get from Foo Fighters....(although I prefer Dave Grohl and company)

Mr. Not
A friend of mine played one of their newer songs recently and I'll admit I liked the bass line. Over all though I just think these guys are losers, would never listen to them on my own time.
Shredder2
QUOTE (invisible airwave @ Sep 27 2012, 05:54 PM) Let's hope at least one of these is better than 21st Century Letdown. 21st Century Letdown?! I was disappointed by it, not just because of the level of mainstream they have applied to their music on that album, but I believe it was just an attempt for another American Idiot. Uno! is another story. I've listened to it, and I enjoyed it. Not their best work since AI, but it surely beats 21CB! I anticipate Dos! and Tre! Green Day are back with this trilogy, and they're not screwing around now!
