The ad looked just like the CA banner. Also a Canadian band. Edited September 13, 2012 by RollTheBiff
OGr8imL84AD8inF8sBlackSedan Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 They both suck...can't decide which is worse though.
GorillaStrangiato Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Didn't the SnA artwork look very similar to Pearl Jam's Yield? http://www.rushisaband.com/images/200703/428.f.jpg http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41iwjq8DplL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

Lerxster Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 No, not familiar. But if you're insinuating that the Spellbook cover was influenced by CA with its redness and symbols arranged in a circle, you may have a point.

The Cat 3 Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Damn, and I thought the cover of Clockwork angels freaked me out a bit!

This one looks like a combination of Snakes and Arrows Live and Test for Echo: http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s410/datura67/b1c026b8.jpg

drbirdsong Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 The Rush influence is spreading at a faster and faster rate.

A great and underrated album by a fantastic band. This thread is turning into broadband-only Internet connection...
gorinosho Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 I keep thinking that there is something about Clockwork Angels that seems to be paying homage to the album Five Miles Out, by Mike Oldfield. No it isn't just that both albums have clouds on the cover, there are musical motifs that anyone familiar with both albums might recognise.
