Halloween costumes

I love Halloween like you wouldn't believe. I want to get a jump-start on costumes (and decorations/party ideas).

 

So... if you had a six-year-old boy and a three-year-old boy show up at your door on Halloween, which costume do you think you would enjoy most?

 

(FWIW, none of these costumes would be overly scary or gruesome.)

 

Also, just to make it clear, one sibling would be one costume, the other would be his match. Example: Older boy would be surgeon, younger would be the patient.

 

(And yes, I am aware now that I've spelled 'Darth' wrong... can't seem to edit that... ) [fixed ]

especially for the young kids!! Who doesn't like candy?!??!?

Personally, I'd go with Speed Racer and Racer X, something more traditional like Batman & Robin, or even Captain America and Iron Man. But that's where my mind swims.

 

If I had to go alien I'd go with E.T. and Alf. They've never been seen together, but they should be....or even E.T. and a bag of Reese's pieces.

Halloween may very well be my favorite holiday. I love taking the kids out Trick-or-Treating and looking at everyone decorations and decorating our own house and yard. I mean, here it is July and I'm thinking about Halloween!?

Let's see... year one the oldest was Batman, youngest was Robin (he was only four weeks old at the time!), year two the oldest was a fireman and youngest was a dalmation, and then last year the oldest was a prisoner in a black and white striped outfit and youngest was a cop.
