metaldad
QUOTE (danielmclark @ Apr 27 2012, 10:04 AM) I can't see myself trying to listen to their 80's output. It's by far their best stuff. The 2000 era made some great albums but you will be ignoring the classic albums of the 80's Iron Maiden Killers Number Of The Beast Piece Of Mind Powerslave 5 truly Great albums imo

Nate2112
QUOTE (Presto-digitation @ Apr 27 2012, 09:08 AM) I'm not sure how anyone dislikes The Rainmaker or The Wicker Man. Maiden's career is filled with songs like these. The Prisoner is just like that too...a catchy radio single type cut. The Flight Of Icarus, Wasted Years, Two Minutes To Midnight, etc. Don't forget The Pilgrim and Different World...

Bone Roller
QUOTE (ReflectedLight @ Apr 27 2012, 09:55 AM) i won't be attending the maiden tour but i remember them playing the prisoner on the 7th son tour. what a great tune live. are they playing it on the current tour? geezuz i hope so. adrian and bruce have both said that they intend to play "2/3" of the original Maiden England setlist. The Prisoner was on that setlist. it's the one song from that tour that i am dying to hear.

Dream-Theater*#2358
I think that they could release an album in lengths like the tracks in Somewhere In Time, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, or Powerslave. They could have half shorter tracks, a couple longer ones, then one big track like Rime of the Ancient Mariner or Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.
