sonicjams
seriously, what are you even doing in a heaviest albums thread, grandpa? thergothon is hardly laughable, i mean, you post on a forum for a band that has a song called "I Think I'm Going Bald" but nah that's a groovy rocker that your simple mind can maybe make you dance a little bit to stick to styx and kansas for your "heavy" fix

It's clownish, which is fine for rock music, except when you are trying to convey authentic emotion. Those bands are parodies of themselves, the music is sh*t. Any turd can drone on like that. You like it, fine. You can go back to beating off now, little boy.
sonicjams
sorry old man but you don't know what you're talking about if you don't like anything heavier than styx, you shouldn't be in a heaviest albums thread I dig thergothon, it's not the best shit in the world, but for anyone who appreciates all forms of heavy metal, it should serve its purpose. I mentioned the albums I did because the posts here were made by a bunch of clueless old people who are saying that blue oyster cult is the heaviest band ever and shit. rotting
Hey, I like styx. I also enjoy primitive & punishing death/thrash metal. To me when people talk about what garbage it is, and how horrible it is - how unmusical and mindless it is, inspires me to listen to it even more. I'd love for someone who thinks death metal is so easy to play to just grab an axe and join in with suffocation/dying fetus for a night, see how mindless and easy it is to play. I'm old now, I remember when people called metallica and megadeth noise in the 80s -
