Barry
I know that you can buy Neil's drum sticks on line...I picked up a pair of the Time Machine sticks from the Rush site, but does anyone know of a way to buy the guitar picks that Geddy and Alex use on their tours (other than eBay)? I'd love to start a collection of their picks, just don't know where to start :-)

OR bust...or get front row on alex's side and beg.
Scottishdood
Well....not to P on everyones Strawberries here BUT...if you had come for a smoke with me at the break at the SECC you would have had a chance encounter with Tony Geranious ( What you mean you dont know who he is? ) I just went over had a little chat as he enjoyed his smoke break and walked away with a few plectrums which he handed over without me even asking for them!! http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/x435/qks1/Photo0682.jpg Edited May 15, 2011 by Scottishdood

I know Geddy uses his fingers :-) but the fact is, if you look on eBay...there are a number of picks available from multiple tours that claim to be Geddy's and they look authentic, with his signature printed on the back...so I assumed that they do make picks for Geddy. Either that, or they are customs / fakes.

1 of the 7
The VIP ticket packages come with a set of picks - 1 black, 1 red with the starman/nothing on back, 1 black, 1 red with debut album logo and starman/nothing on back, 2 white with debut album logo on front, 1 with Alex's sig on back, 1 with Geddy's (printed). These are different from any Alex actually uses, but they're cool. I'm guessing you might find them on Ebay if people have duplicates.

He gave me a couple at Madison Square Garden! Plus, he took a gift back to Geddy for me. Also, while Geddy does not use a pick when he plays, there are Time Machine guitar picks floating around with his signature on the back. A friend of mine got one at a show in April. Barry
I got this pick on eBay from a seller in Stockholm who says he is a stage hand and that he picked it up off the stage after the show on May 6th. It is not quite as dirty in person as it looks in the scan, but it shows some signes of usage. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6320832/pick.jpg what do you think...any chance this really was used by Lerxt during the show? Smokin'Lebanon
Barry check the edge on the pick it should have a bevelled/rough edge if it has been used. More then likely these are giving to the extra stage hands, local crew etc. As a thank you for working on the tour. They are sold as 'used' to try to get a few extra bucks. These hardly reach the band and are handed out mainly amongst the band crew. A friend of mine was lucky to chat with 'Tony Geranious' and he handed over a couple of picks for his collection. The same as the 2 posted up yellow and red picks.

Barry
Since I started this thread, I though I would share my progress. I became interested in Rush guitar picks when I saw the pick set for sale at the merch booth at the Time Machine Tour show that I saw last summer. Over the last few months I have been collecting RUSH guitar picks, I have a few here to share and a few more on the way from various sources... http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6320832/pick1.jpg http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6320832/pick2.jpg http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6320832/pick3.jpg If anyone has picks or sale or to trade, please let me know! Smokin'Lebanon
I've just getting these cool items for my collection. A Time Machine Geddy pick and a pair of used Neil Peart drumsticks. The sticks are from the Glasgow show and are used from the first set. http://img818.imageshack.us/img818/3258/000000206.jpg http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/5174/000000103.jpg
