Gompers
Mmmm....good. And I don't care who is around after I eat it in dishes, of course that may also explain something.
GeddysMullet
Garlic is one of the best things ever Especially big chunks of it sauteed along with onions, peppers and tomatoes. And you know what? You can always brush your teeth!

IChoseFreeWill
Yay! Now you are making me want to run to the nearest Italian restaurant and have molto garlic. I also love onions, shallots, scallions, leeks, chives, and everything else in that family.

Tarkus406
mm Garlic. I could roast up a huge pile of garlic and eat it right out of the oven with salt and a bit of olive oil
1 of the 7
I Garlic! My mother used to have ten fits when I'd come home from school stinking of it from the school food, but I never noticed One of my fave pasta recipes is elbows with sun-dried tomatoes and garlic. It's also a major ingredient in shrimp scampi, one of my faves for my mom to make, and I'm pretty heavy-handed with garlic powder if I don't have the fresh stuff around for my olive oil sauces and "homemade Chinese food". I'm not as bad as a former co-worker who put garlic powder and parmesan cheese in just about everything, though!

1 of the 7
QUOTE (Babycat @ May 16 2011, 05:14 AM) You don't eat it raw, do you?! I've tasted it raw (and don't really mind it), but prefer it cooked. Same with onions. Not a raw onion fan.

Mara
I love to roast it until it's soft and spreadable, mix with a little olive oil, and dip pita chips in it. A few months back I roasted a turkey and stuffed elephant ear garlic cloves (though elephant ear is technically not garlic but a variety of leek) under the skin. Yum.
