Nova Carmina
"Rotten" as in, you don't like it, or "rotten" as in, "it's a nickname for a particular way of preparing tuna casserole"? We must be on the same menu schedule because we had tuna casserole this week, too!

Tonight it is delicious artery-clogging double cheeseburger and fresh fries. :)

goose
A reuben sandwich at Jersey Mikes in the way to the movie theaterAs in, there was a huge Reuben sandwich blocking the entrance to the theater and you had to eat your way in? Sounds delicious AND fun!
spaceaudity11
I will have the pleasure of enjoying a leftover Greek salad fresh from my dorm room mini fridge after I crank out three hours of homework. Nova Carmina
Well, that's pretty much the recipe! Cook a 3lb bag of chicken breasts in a crockpot all day (cooks fine on low over about eight hours;shred the chicken as fine as you'd like;cook a box of your favorite pasta (we like penne because the cheese sauce gets inside the noodle);after draining the chicken and pasta, mix together with shredded cheese (I bought a big combo bag of mozz and cheddar) and block of cream cheese;stir until mixed to taste. It's more of "feel" thing. If you like, add some toasted Italian bread to wipe up the plate or bowl.

What brand of crockpot do you have? Is it reliable? I have one that I don't use anymore because it didn't work well. It's a Hamilton Beach I think. Nova Carmina
Our crockpot is a Hamilton-Beach; I'm sure we got it from WM, but it's years old and works fine. I run a little water in with the chicken but nothing else. The chicken by itself is super bland, but once we've added the cheeses and sauce, it's good!

She made the jambalaya with green curry, which spiced it up nicely, so the cooling effect of the rice was welcome. ETA: Leftover jambalaya tonight was great as well. Reheated pizza isn't too shabby either. :) Edited October 12, 2019 by Lorraine
