ghostworks Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 QUOTE (Good @ bad, andrush,Dec 31 2010, 07:31 PM)Second Nature for me. +1 though Tai Shan is equally as insipid, Second Nature's lyrical feel-good platitudes are so cringe-worthy it gets the vote
Lamelight Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 This was really tough. My favorite album of them and every song is at least nearly perfect for me. Went then with Time Stand Still, just because I like the ASOH version better.
Verena Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 (edited) Tai Shan, I usually skip it. I do the same. Edited October 23, 2015 by rhyv
x1yyz Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 (edited) Not Tai Shan. I'll have to go with Time Stand Still because VOCALISTS THAT ARE NOT GEDDY and especially FEMALE VOCALISTS do not belong in Rush songs! Edited October 23, 2015 by x1yyz
_hi_water._ Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 Not Tai Shan. I'll have to go with Time Stand Still because VOCALISTS THAT ARE NOT GEDDY and especially FEMALE VOCALISTS do not belong in Rush songs!sexist...
Rhyta Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 Not Tai Shan. I'll have to go with Time Stand Still because VOCALISTS THAT ARE NOT GEDDY and especially FEMALE VOCALISTS do not belong in Rush songs!sexist...Since x1yyz is a gal, not so sure she's sexist. No one wanted to hear someone else sing on Rush songs when this album came out :finbar:
Rhyta Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 Second Nature, I always skip it. Just awkward alphabet soup. Ok, you said one but.... Lock and Key is one I am also meh on. The opening is awful but if you get past it then it has some cool music.
