I went with Funeral For A Friend by Elton John! I just love that damn song! The Beginning is one of the best written instrumentals ever!

Stairway....even though I can't listen to it anymore....it's still king. BTW, Suite Madam Blue - Styx, would've been a nice addition to this list.

My pic from those would be Stairway to Heaven, but right now I would have to say that my favorite song of all time is actually GnR's November Rain. I was lucky enough to see Axl Rose perform it live with his GnR tribute band.

 

I like almost anything except guys who write songs about their sisters. It doesn't matter if you're the coolest band in the world, it's just plain creepy (U2, White Stripes, QOTSA, etc).
