Alsgalpal
I know that most of us here have children, and I am interested in hearing your favorite movies, and to share mine. Maybe I will learn of a good movie for my younguns. I like Finding Nemo, the crabs, and seagulls kill me, and I can speak fluent whale, not something I am too proud of when my kids ask me to do it in public!!! I also like Brother Bear, the Canadian Moose, and the goats are so hilarious. I also like Anastasia, with Bartok the bat... Anyone else?
Moonraker
I loathe, I detest, I abhor every sequal to The Land Before Time. I was a fan of the first one though, I was actually a younger kid when it came out.
madra sneachta
I've gotta say Shrek and Shrek 2 - Any kids' film that crams in little jokes for adults must get the thumbs up.
1-0-0-1-0-0-1
I like "Babe: Pig In The City." It's a movie that dares the kiddies to get the adult jokes. But if you really look at it, it isn't a kid's movie. It's dark, surreal, and at times intense, but with cute animals. And you you're asking for trouble when one of the characters is named "Uncle Fugly." (And there's another very adult joke in there, but I won't disclose it for those who haven't seen it.) If you let your kids watch this one, watch it with them.
The Notorious B.S.G.
I myself have the inestimable honor of hearing most every kid flick known to modern man. This is due to the fact that my vehicle comes equipped with an onboard video player. (Great for long trips with young offspring and highly recommended for such.) Some of the best I've heard: Ice Age (that squirrel cracks me up every time) Monsters, Inc. Toy Story (both the first and second ones) Brother Bear - The moose are played by Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis of SCTV in a modified version of their McKenzie Brothers' persona. BTW, I'm sure everyone here knows of the song the "brothers" did w/ Geddy Lee on lead vocals - "Take Off!" (to the Great White North). Finding Nemo Alladin - It still cracks me up, but I don't think I've ever actually seen it. Lotsa others, but my mind wanders.....
Relaxed_Jack
Ice Age - 'Where's the baby?.......There it is!' Brother Bear - "I spy with my little eye something tall.....TREE! I spy with MY little eye something green....TREE! I spy with MY little......TREE!" That part KILLS me. Finding Nemo - "He touch the butt.....That's an awfull big butt" Both Shreks are great!....I was rolling during Shrek II. How about the DVD's of all the School house Rock shows. My 5 yr old loves 'em. ....Conjuction Junction - What's Your Fuinction ....Lolly Lolly Lolly get your Adverbs here. ....I'm just a Bill.
