Only two 'old men' left. laugh.gif Steve Smith , John Kasey (p).

Kasay is the only "original" Panther if I'm not mistaken.

That's rather unique, I hope they keep him on the roster in spite of the obvious youth movement that is underway.

Unfortunately, the Panthers are going to be horrible this year. sad.gif

Stick a fork in the Cards,it's over already laugh.gif Poor Larry Fitz

It seems to me that they are taking one step back to take two steps forward. They are going to save a ton of money this year and nobody knows if there will be a season in 2011. I think the Cards are loading up for 2012.

Peppers to the Bears

They also signed RB Chester Taylor and TE Brandon Manumaleuna

Bears = desperate to win NOW.

Peppers will turn out to NOT be worth the money. Guy's heart is just not into the game. All IMO of course.

They're desperate because the head coach and GM know that if they don't win this season, they are out the door. yes.gif

I think the Jets would have been better to stay with Thomas Jones!

Jones was doomed by his huge roster bonus.

Brady will be sitting on the bench.

Can't say I'll miss him whenever he had a chance to prove himself failed miserably 50% passer ain't going to cut it in the NFL. no.gif

Not happy with this one, another aged veteran past his prime always seems to wind up with Cleveland no matter what sport. But don't think Delhomme will still be the starting QB after a year. He's a filler until Holmgren get's a younger more versatile choice. Good riddance to Anderson while were at it with Cleveland's QB frenzy, but it can't get any worse trading D.A. & Quinn is a relief tired of both of them. Seneca Wallace who the Browns picked up earlier from the Seahawks, don't know anything about. But reports say he's a good backup. confused13.gif

That was my first thought too but after listening to a break down of the whole scenario, I think the Eagles made out well and the Redskins really screwed up.

McNabb is due a huge roster bonus and there is only one year left on his contract. The Eagles are a young team across the board and have their future QB ready to go.

The Redskins: Traded away a high 2nd round pick and a possible 3 or 4 next year for a QB that has only one year left on his contract. Bad move. The Redskins aren't going to do a damn thing this year because their offensive line is horrible. And after the 2010 season, McNabb will probably leave and the Redskins will have nothing to show for the trade.

My first thought was WTF are they doing. I agree with liquidcrystal though. The Deadskins don't have the receivers that Philly has. McNabb looked very ordinary towards the end of last season. Washington has a history of signing big names near the end of their career. I mean they are going with McNabb and Larry Johnson. Does that scare you? Kevin Kolb has looked very good the times I have seen him. And the Eagles got two pretty good picks. Washington picks number 4 this year and then nothing until the 4th round I believe.
