hope67
I agree with the comments about what makes Geddy attractive. At one concert, I was in the front row singing along with every song right in front of Geddy. At the end of the show, when he threw out the t-shirts, the guy standing next to me and I tugged over one and he got it. Next thing I know Geddy walked over and handed me a t-shirt. Needless to say I was thrilled!
Rushchick10
QUOTE (iluvgeddy05 @ Nov 17 2009, 12:37 PM) Seriously? It's the whole package. Would I see him on the street and fall over him if "Geddy" didn't exist? Probably not. The coolness, rockstar factor combined with just being a seemingly good guy? I'm all eyes. Now, if I saw him on the street and the whole "Geddy" thing didn't exist, I would probably still find him very sexy. I've always been drawn to men with dark, long(er) hair and brown eyes. That's why I initially started seeing the man that would eventually become my husband. Then he went and cut his hair... and I threatened divorce... Seriously though, there is just something inexplicably attractive about Geddy. And yes, he does have an exceptional a$$ for a man in his 50's! Hell, he's got a great bum for a man any age! It's obvious that he takes care of himself physically, and that is a BIG turn-on for me, being the amateur athlete that I am!

TwoOneOneTwo
There's something that's so appealing about The Talented Male Nerd. I think we can all agree that Dirk, Lerxst, and Pratt are card-carrying members of this oft overlooked and underappreciated group. Most talented nerdy guys try harder. They really do. They bring you little gifts, can be taught to act politely in a crowd, are grateful to even be with you in the first place...and will cheerfully engage in certain aspects of sex that pretty much all frat boy jock types would never, ever try. Please note that the creature pictured below is not a Talented Male Nerd. Stay FAR away from him. He has green mossy teeth, doesn't bathe too often, lives on Little Debbie snack cakes, is an armchair musician, can't stand it if anyone is more intelligent than he is, and---possibly worst of all---he enjoys Nightwish and Ars Nova. http://www.gbtoys.com/simpsons/comic-book-guy-simpsons.jpg
tkdryan
Geddy has aged well. I cant believe he is pushing 60. Alot of us guys can only hope we age as well as him. It makes me think that the boys will be performing for years to come

I am a very spatial thinker and I know many other women like that. We are indeed often socialized to be more about emotions and more adaptable; for example, it's easier to talk oneself into finding someone hot that one already likes, if one is female. But I was raised by a second-wave feminist and have less of that socialization than average. Also, the younger a female friend of mine is, the less likely she is to adhere to what you've described; because the expectations are flying out the window ever faster as society progresses. I think TMD has some good points. I was raised female, and most girls confuse the hell out of me. So far, most of the girls I can understand also think girls are confusing
