I am guessing that Stameys is a Lexington style que, or maybe eastern NC style. Is their sauce red? I have also eaten Que at Sticky Fingers in Charleston, Dukes in Walterboro and at Maurices in Columbia. If in Greensboro I will try to catch Stameys but usually am trying to get through Greensboro as fast as I can and rarely stop. Edit- just checked out their site. They are a Lexington style que. So much so in fact that he won't let you see Colonel Troutman in Troutman's action figure box. However, those who brave Rambo's wrath and look in the box will find an impressive and uniformed action figure. Instead of the usual arsenal that accompany most army men action figures, Troutman comes with a friendlier, more buddy buddy "eeeeeh" finger pointing stance. And instead of guns, he comes with a... jacket, which he can throw over chairs during meetings to display his frustration at events. This is all remarkably cooler when you realize Troutman doesn't HAVE to have any of those typical army gear extras.
