rnrgal Posted January 2, 2009 Share Posted January 2, 2009 I'm surprised how many people are saying GUP "by far." For me, it's a very close call. I like them both a lot, for different reasons. Maybe they did go a little overboard with the keyboards in the 80s, but the kb didn't "kill Rush" for me, either. They crafted some great songs on both albums. Borough of Shmeng Posted January 3, 2009 Share Posted January 3, 2009 GUP for me, I think Counterparts is one of the better later albums and has some fine moments like animate, cold fire and leave that thing alone.
