If you come into this thread intending to talk trash about the military, please go elsewhere. This is intended to be an apolitical discussion of the Military Channel only. Although I don't get it...which is really unfortuante, I'm sure I'd like WW2 Battlefront or such programs. You think im bad, mess with Jack." Right on! I too have an interest in military science and I've had it for as long as I can remember, at least back to the good ol' days of "Baa Baa Black Sheep." I haven't watched the Military Channel in some time but it's one of the reasons I like our digital cable lineup. To outline some of the reasons I like the Military Channel: 1) I am a Cold War-era National Guard veteran (without combat experience) who has a long lineage of soldiers, sailors and airmen included on both sides of my family, including my late father, who was a Battle of the Bulge veteran with the 84th Infantry Division. He was wounded in action in Belgium in early January 1945. 2) I like to see the development of combat, from its earliest modern forms to the current approaches and into the future.
