friendlyvoice Posted January 31, 2008 Share Posted January 31, 2008 Dear Diary, I just had the most awesome-tastic dream! I dreamed that I saw Rush performing live, just for me! It was so amazing! Neil rode up to me on his motorcycle and said, "Hop on...I'm taking you someplace very special". Well, Diary, you know I couldn't pass that up! We rode on and on for miles, just me and Neil . Then we pulled into a giant stadium. Geddy and Alex were there and they said, "We're going to play just for you". I mean, it was like, sooo incredible!! So they went up on stage and Geddy said, "Would you like to hear every song we've ever recorded?". Well, Diary, you know I said a big "yes!" to that!! So they started out with "Garden Road" and "Fancy Dancer"...and played every song from the 1st album! And Geddy sang them all just like it was 1974...they weren't tuned down or anything! OMG! They played EVERYTHING!! Neil even gave me the cutest wink as I danced to "Didacts and Narpets". They played for 14 hours!! Without stopping!! It was so fantabulous! As soon as they finished playing "Snakes & Arrows", I clapped and cheered like crazy! Then they brought me up on stage and we ate pizza together! Pepperoni and black olives...my fave! Then Neil and I went off for another ride on his motorcycle. He's so dreamy! But then my alarm went off and my Rush fantasy was over.
