jdouglas
I'm the new guitarist for Afterimage a Rush Trubite Band, playing the Rusty Nail in Ardmore PA on Friday 8:30. I posted on the main Rush thread (feel free to wish me luck / bump)..ha but since this is where I post and read I'd thought I'd say it here too for you guys. Special Thanks to pete, PWGuitarist and rushfanNlv for the quality support and inspiration to practice more. I'll post a mp3 clip from the show next week. Should be fun. Have a great holiday all. http://www.afterimageband.com/ (no, not me in the clips on site yet..ha) Edited December 13, 2007 by jdouglas

jdouglas
good times...... we do a silent practice with everything through the board / computer (w a roland drum kit) in headphones...so hearing myself at max wattage for the first time in 15 years was a definately wakeup call...but a good one.. at the last minute during la villa solo, i'd thought I'd just go a lil nuts and threw in some of alex's show of hands version, ...I hope i pulled it off!. will post a song or clip soon... thanks for all the support guys, great to have ya! jd Edited December 16, 2007 by jdouglas

jdouglas
QUOTE (_pete_ @ Dec 20 2007, 10:01 PM) Sounds great man!! Got any more? Thanks pete...If I can match you on your off nights, I'm getting somewhere... Actually, I'm not sure how happy the band was with performance since we had setup sound drama etc, so i'm trying not to post alot and get them miffed. Maybe I could clip a few solos, that would only be incrimating for me and my slowhands. ha.
