When one couple have a baby, relatives and friends will be invited to have a rich dinner to celebrate at the moment the baby has been one hundred days old or one month old. The relatives and friends come to congratulate usually with some presents or some money as a gift. Chinese Birth Rites Maybe this is what he is talking about.
