People I know who are not knowledgeable Rush fans simply refer to it as "that gay song". Of course, some hardcore Rush fans feel the same way. I don't think these same people are even aware that it also refers to a young girl who was murdered. Red Lenses is talking and bass? O... k... Obviously some people may just not like the song anyway but I've heard so much griping about that song at concerts, on messageboards, and so on and it's usually done in a derogatory way because of the lyrical references. I didn't mean that not liking the song makes you homophobic. It's not one of my favorites on that album just because there's so much other good stuff on there.
